You know spring is finally here when Tidewater Builders Association hosts the Mid-Atlantic Home & Outdoor Living (MAHOL) Show. The show will be March 31-April 2, 2017 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. If you need some help getting your home or yard whipped into shape for warmer weather activities, or you’re looking for some new decoration options, this show has options for everyone.
For 32 years the MAHOL Show has paved the way in bringing the latest in style, technology and decor to refresh and renew your home and garden. Connect with over 150 local professionals and exhibitors ready to assist with building or renovating the indoor or outdoor space!
Established in 1985, the MAHOL Show is the largest show of its kind in the region, attracting guests from Williamsburg to northeastern North Carolina. The show has become a springtime ritual for homeowners looking for the latest trends and products for their homes.
Categories of the exhibiting companies include hardscape products, kitchen and bath remodeling, home automation and security, flooring, foundation repair, and pools and spas, just to name a few. This year’s MAHOL Show features beautiful full-scale outdoor living spaces, an exciting lineup of events and workshops including the Hot Stuff Grilling Expo, the “Let’s Do it Right!” home improvement workshop, as well as the New Home Expo.
The “Let’s Do it Right!” main stage presentations will be conducted by some of the area’s most recognizable names in home improvement to help guests make informed, realistic decisions about their next renovation project.
During the Hot Stuff Grilling Expo, national grill manufacturers will display their newest lines of grills; from propane to charcoal, to pellet and infrared. Smokers and wood burning pizza ovens will also be on display.
In the New Home Expo, guests can discover new home sites across the Southside and meet the builders of beautiful new homes and communities. While interest rates are still low, now might be the perfect time to consider buying a new home.
Show times will be 10 AM-6 PM on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1; 10 AM-5 PM on Sunday, April 2.
There is something for everyone at this year’s show. Bring the kids on Saturday, 1-2 PM to meet Riptide, the Norfolk Tides mascot. On Saturday from 1-5 PM, guests 21 years and older and with a valid ID can sample craft brews. Or, if olive oils and balsamic vinegars are more your thing, Experience Olives and Grapes Fusti Bar will have a tasting on both Saturday and Sunday, from 1-4 PM.
Admission to the show is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for military and first responders with a valid ID, and free for children 12 years and younger. Tickets can be purchased for any day of the show at the Convention Center. To receive a $2 off coupon, check out the MAHOL Show website
