Ddeb’s A Taste of Home in Chesapeake, VA has been offering delicious food in the Great Bridge area for over a year. Ddeb is a nickname owner Debbie Toth acquired over the years, and she puts her heart, soul, and years of hospitality experience into her restaurant as well as her name. 

Located on Old Drive in the center of Great Bridge, going to Ddeb’s feels like stepping into a favorite small town eatery of the past with the best food of today. The vintage home the restaurant is located in is the perfect setting for such a friendly, warm dining experience. While Debbie’s food is better than any food I ever had growing up (sorry mom!), Ddeb’s doesn’t just offer a taste of home, it feels like home as well.

Here at The Real Estate Group, we are proud to share the news that our very own Steven Edwards has been named Broker of the Year for 2015 by the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association. He received the award today at the HRRA 2016 Installation Luncheon and Awards Ceremony at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center. 

TREG agents and staff received the good news last week, and everyone did a tremendous job of keeping the award a secret. Through careful planning, TREG quietly filled eight luncheon tables all in support of Steven and his hard work.

When introducing the award, HRRA shared this quote from Cyndi Kight, the TREG agent who nominated Steven:

I have a confession to make. The internet stunts my DIY growth. I start to wonder about a project, or an idea floats through my mind about a remodeling idea and I head to Google. The sheer number of websites offering advice, ideas, and instructions always leaves me lost in a sea of choices. There are so many options out there that I end up doing nothing.
