Apple officially announced the highly anticipated iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last week.  The phones advertised as "bigger than bigger" feature an entirely new design, improved hardware, a new mobile payments platform and several other new features.  The web is full of information regarding this new release but in a nutshell, this is what you need to know:

Design - The iPhone 6 is larger than its predecessor featuring an all new design.  The standard iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch display with the iPhone 6 plus packs a 5.5 inch screen.  The new phones are also noticeably thinner with the iPhone 6 measuring in at 6.9 mm and the iPhone 6 plus at 7.1 mm.
