I know we just had Halloween and recovering from all the sugar shock from the candy. However, as I am shopping there are already holiday decorations and even Christmas trees displays out already. Time to start preparing for all of your holiday plans for 2011.
Here are a few tips on how you can possibly save up to 50% on your energy bill during the holiday season.
1. Switch to LED lights compared to incadescent holiday lights
- LED lights last longer ( roughly 20,000 hours - enough for 40 holiday seasons)
- LED lights are cooler which will reduce the risk of fire and injury
- LED lights can save 90% or more energy compared to incandescent holiday lights
- LED lights use less power and safer to connect multiple strings of LED lamps without overloading wall socket
